This will be a four-step tutorial which shows how to restore photo, video, audio, files from your SD and memory card. Before recovery, please make sure you connected your card to the PC on which you installed 7-Data Card Recovery.

Step 1. Select the card or the drive you want to recover data from.

Select Memory CardNormally 7-Data Card Recovery will show only the removable device i.e. your card or USB drive, but if you want to show the local drive on your computer, you can click “Show Local Drives” button.

Step 2. Start scanning for recoverable files.

Scan Memory CardPlease select the drive (normally your card) you want to restore files from and click “Next” button to start a scan for recoverable files. In this step you can configure which types of files you want to find during the scan by clicking “Advanced Settings” button.

Step 3. Preview recovered files.

Preview Recovered FilesAfter scan is complete, you can browse and preview the files listed in the original tree structure of the card/drive. If you are recovering photos or images you may want to click the “Thumbnails” to view the photo in thumbnail instead of list. You can double click the image to preview it in another window. If you want to search for a specific file, you can use the “Search” button.

Step 4. Save recovered files.

Save Recovered FilesAfter you decide which files you want to recover, please select them all and click the “Save” button. Choose the path you want to save these files to and it’s done. Now you can see the recovered files in the destination folder.
